DASH8 Launch Video

Our camera crew traveled all over Europe to shoot lots of footage from Komatsu's latest excavator: the DASH8. We shot terrific footage of brand new DASH8 machines at work in vineyards in Italy, stone pits in Portugal, demolition sites in the heart of London, machines laying pipes in Stockholm, . even in the Italian Alps you can find a DASH8 at work.

Objectives

• Create a product video that shows the DASH8 in full action whilst stressing its unique USP's.
• Include existing Japanese footage of different machine tests.

Results

• The video was used on a big DASH8 launch event in the UK, a track from Fatboy Slim was licenced for this occasion.
• The video was translated to all European languages for distribution on DVD.
• Several European customer tesimonials were included to elaborate on the new DASH8 features.
