Pijnstiller

Pijnstiller.be (and its French derivative antidouleur.be) is an informative website owned by Janssen-Cilag. The website is stuffed with loads of useful information about pain and fever and how to avoid and/or cure them with or without medicine.

Pijnstiller was awarded Bronze in the category Usability/Navigation at the 2008 European CMS Awards.

Objectives

Through this website Janssen-Cilag wants to give an overview of certain pain categories and possible treatments. These treatments can consist of specific painkillers, but often treatment without the use of medication can be a possibility. This website offers information about these issues, together with tips, exercises and handy tools. There is also a lot of useful information regarding children and fever.

Results

• Thanks to the elaborate Information Architecture phase of this project, this website was built with a strong focus on findability in search engines.
  
• This website contains a vast amount of useful information about all kinds of pain and their treatment, with a strong emphasis on objective information, in spite of the specific branding and product info.
• The design of this site is in perfect balance with Janssen-Cilag's branding guidelines.
• Lots of internal site linking by means of relevant Janssen-Cilag products, tips and tools.
